I have a David Robinson card that does not have a number, manufacturer or year of production. The front of the card is black border with USA in gold lettering across the top, and David Robinson in gold lettering across a red sash in the bottom right corner. The back of the card reads as follows:
David Robinson 1988 U.S. Olympic Team Bronze Medal Winner Due in large part to the precision passing of future NBA players Sharunas Marchulenis and Alexander Volkov, the Soviet Union upset the United States in the 1988 Olympic semifinals, 82-76. In the Broze Medal game, the Robinson-led American team demolished Australia, 78-49. David Robinson's turn for an Olympic Gold Medal may yet come... in 1992. Any thoughts to the origin of this card for determining value are appreciated. This card is the exact style of the Michael Jordan photo that I've attached. Thanks. |
